Shopping

Croatia, while rich in culture and beauty, does not typically offer world-class shopping experiences comparable to those found in countries like Italy or Greece, especially in terms of small boutique styles or luxury brands. Although cool boutiques can be found, the presence of luxury stores is notably absent, even in major cities like Zagreb.

In Cavtat, shopping opportunities are more modest but charming. The old town hosts two souvenir shops that cater to different tastes. The first, Croatino - Villa Andro, located at the entrance of the old town at Trumbićev put 21, offers the quintessential souvenir shop experience with a vast array of typical Croatian mementos. The second, Škatulica, situated at the end of the promenade at Put dr. Ante Starčevića 23, provides a more curated selection of unique gifts and souvenirs, including an excellent selection of Croatian olive oils.

Additionally, Cavtat is home to three well-appointed jewelry shops, offering exquisite pieces that reflect the local craftsmanship.

For those who are passionate about shopping, a visit to Dubrovnik’s old town is highly recommended. There you'll find a broader range of shopping options. However, it's worth noting that even in Dubrovnik, luxury brands are scarce. This region emphasizes local crafts and traditional goods, making it a unique shopping destination rather than a hub for international luxury shopping.
